AV Supplier Panel
For AV event support, organisers can choose from one of five exclusive local AV suppliers from the Te Pae Christchurch AV Panel.
All members of the Te Pae Christchurch AV panel are experts in their field, accredited to work within the Centre and fully conversant with the advanced technology throughout our venue.
All AV requirements are serviced by this panel, including lighting, sound, recording, camera and film production, rigging, hybrid and live-streaming solutions.

Audio Visual and ICT features at Te Pae Christchurch:
- Meeting rooms are equipped with a lectern, incorporating microphone as well as dedicated in-room audio and fixed high resolution data projector and screen.
- Auditorium is equipped with two large 9 metre x 5 metre LED display screens and the rigging capability for large customisable configurations.
- Banquet Room is pre-rigged for standard configurations with video, lighting and draping and with the rigging capability for high production event requirements.
- Exhibition Halls have a rigging height of 10.6m allowing for elaborate large production requirements, including unique features like dimmable house lighting.
- Venue Paging with customisable zones, programable messaging with scheduling, and the ability to have master located anywhere in the building.
- Digital signage options throughout the building including that can schedule images, slideshows and video files
- LED screen above main reception, measuring 8 metre x 1.5 metre
- LED pre-function screen in Dobson foyer, measuring 5.5 metre x 3 metre
- External LED billboard measuring 10 metre x 2 metre to showcase your event
- Room Panel screens outside each meeting room
- Wayfinding digital totems in foyer spaces and externally around the building
- Large 65” digital mobile totems that can be located where you need them.
Wi-Fi and Network Technology
- Wi-Fi 6 coverage is provided via almost 200 access points throughout the venue. Clients and event attendees can experience seamless roaming throughout the event spaces with no interruptions to video calls or browsing
- Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas, or clients can brand Wi-Fi networks for their own event.
- Copper hardwired connections are available in all event spaces and deliver gigabit internet to meet event requirements.
- Fibre connections up to 10 gigabit are available in event spaces.
- Our hyperconverged virtualised network is backed by dual 10 gigabit internet connections. Floor distribution switches are connected in a fully redundant structure to the core using dual 10, dual 20 or 40 gigabit uplinks.
- Clients can choose to use our network in a variety of ways to meet their needs, including custom VLANs across wired and wireless infrastructure, private subnets, point to point links or WAN connections.
