Te Pae Christchurch is located in the centre of the city, just a short 15–20-minute drive from Christchurch International Airport. As the gateway to Te Waipounamu (the South Island), Christchurch is well connected to the world, and the regional hub for flights from around New Zealand.

While the highlights of Christchurch’s central city are just a leisurely stroll away from Te Pae Christchurch, for travel around the city and local area, Christchurch is well-served by its public transport network, airport shuttle services, taxis and ride-share providers, rental car providers and car-sharing apps. Parking options, including e-vehicle charging stations and bicycle parking spaces are available in the area surrounding Te Pae Christchurch.

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is committed to providing safe, equitable and inclusive access for all visitors. The main entrance and publicly accessible areas of the Centre are seamlessly connected, accessible and step free, with drop off and pick up points available directly in front of the main entrance on Oxford Terrace, or on the corner of Armagh Street and Oxford Terrace.

From hidden historical gems to vibrant street art, immersive cultural experiences, and stunning natural beauty, whether you have just an hour or two, or a few days to spend at your leisure, there’s so much to discover in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
