How ASM VenueShield works to protect you

30 November 2021

Recognised as the leading health and safety program in the live events industry, ASM Global has deployed VenueShield to over 325 ASM Global facilities around the world.

This initiative has been been developed in response to the coronavirus pandemic, installing the most advanced sanitary measures across venues that are linked to policies advised by public health authorities, medical specialists, and industry experts.

Te Pae Christchurch has integrated ASM Global’s VenueShield into its operating framework, examining all principles impacted and included in an event’s customer journey, including environmental hygiene, food service, workforce safety, technology and equipment, and public awareness, and setting strategies in place to successfully manage any issues arising. Venueshield will also complement the New Zealand Government’s new COVID-19 Protection Framework, which will help us host events and manage guests entering Te Pae Christchurch and keep everybody safe.

Te Pae Christchurch will be proactive in following COVID-19 safety measures, including hand sanitisation stations, room capacity monitors, screening points, and contact tracing among some of the joint government Protection Framework and VenueShield requirements to keep all visitors and staff safe during an event. We are able to supply floor layouts and amended space capacities to support any demand for events to go ahead with New Zealand’s social distance and gathering policies.

As Te Pae Christchurch prepares to open for business, we want to reassure our community and clients that we have the processes, resources, and a solid programme in place that will ensure that events are safe and successful.
